Canoo Delivers First EV Utility Vans to Oklahoma State Government

Today, Canoo posted on X(formerly Twitter) that they "signed, sealed and delivered" (3) of their fully electric LDV 130 utility vans to the state government of Oklahoma. The entities physically taking ownership and responsibly of the vehicles is the Oklahoma Office of Management & Enterprise Services (OMES), Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Department of Corrections (DOC)

The actual delivery of these vans completes the initial process Canoo made reference to last month when they issued a press release stating they had begun finalizing the first of the vehicles. These vehicles are the first 3 of 1000 ordered by Oklahoma State in an incentive package negotiated with Canoo to bring their manufacturing plant to Oklahoma.

The vehicle incentive package is valued at $35-50M, depending on the final mix of type of vehicles and custom modifications ordered. These three were purchased at $39,950 each, for a combined total of $119,850.
